Portrait Pop-Ups at POPPY!

Poppy Lane Design is opening a flower shop and gift store in Norman, Oklahoma called POPPY! Come by and visit and sign-up for a "Pop-Up Portrait" with your mom or loved ones! These are going to make the PERFECT Mother's Day gift! We will have a beautiful, simple backdrop of flowers and stems to hold for your session.

Session fee: $50 (includes ONE high-res digital file)

During this 5-minute pop-up portrait, we will be able to capture & present up to 10 adorable images online and you'll receive ONE high-res image. Additional products are priced separately, including the choice to purchase all of the files.

Business Headshots!

Freshening up your business headshot is a good way to start off the new year! Keep that in mind for January! Our approach to business headshots is simple. We love to know about your business and your personality so that we can craft just the right “feel” for these images. We will grab a few posed shots, but also love including a few candid ones as well. This is where your true personality comes out!
Clothing: Make sure you feel good in your clothes! Make sure they are flattering. No bold patterns, no logos, no neon. And if you have a color scheme for your brand / website, incorporate that too. If you are self-concious about something, please let me know (vulnerable, i know) so that I can shoot differently.
Hair, face, teeth: Make sure you schedule that haircut or color a few days before. Trim those nose / ear / neck hairs (!), pluck those brows and pls check your teeth for food before your session!

New Santa announcement!

Santa desperately wanted to be at the OU/OSU Bedlam game for our Pop-Up Santa Sessions this year, but due to the freezing temps, we've moved the sessions from OU campus to our indoor studio in Norman (address will be given upon booking).

*** THIS Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 // 11am to 3pm ***

This year, we will do our most popular: A simple grey background with fake snow! Every year, we desire to make each kid feel loved and cherished! It’s now a yearly tradition for many of our families! The session w Santa includes fun snow-throwing, a little gift, and yummy snacks & hot cocoa at the end.

Santa is resting up for tomorrow!

We are so excited to announce that Santa Claus will be visiting on Saturday, November 13th from 10AM to 3PM at Overflow Creative Studio in Norman, OK.

This year, we are offering a FREE session with Santa! It’s always a unique experience for your kiddos. The best images we capture are the ones where they are talking and laughing with Santa but we will capture a few looking at the camera too. Hot cocoa and bagged Christmas snacks will be available and each child will receive a special gift from Santa!

We will be shooting indoors on a white background this year. We kindly ask that everyone social distance and remain with your group due to COVID. If you would like to maintain distance from Santa and/or Overflow Creative Studio staff as well, please send us an email and let us know! We want you to be comfortable at all times. We ask that you stay unplugged from your cellular devices and enjoy this experience with your children (no phone photography allowed).

We suggest to choose wardrobe colors that compliment Santa’s red suit. We recommend that you stay away from bold patterns such as plaid, gingham or bright colors such as neon.

Each session will be 5 minutes long and we will provide 5-10 images that you can view online and purchase separately from the FREE session.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled session time.

Groups are limited to 4 people. If you need to add more people, you’ll need to add another session slot because more time will be required and an additional $25 fee will be applied.

This year all items are a la carte so you can mix and match to choose exactly what you want:

Prices start at $35 for a 5x7 // $65 for an 8x10

Single files start at $100 // All digital files are $175

*** 8.75% tax must be added ***

Your images will be shown online a week after your session and orders can be made at that time.

Please no phone photography while inside the studio.

I love the change of perspective when I’m flying in a plane. You can see the change of topography, the distinct shadows from the clouds, dividing lines between fields, neighborhoods, tree lines, etc… Things that were unseen when you were on the ground and in the midst of the urgent are now more clearly defined.

That’s where I am now - not in a plane, sadly - but at a place of being able to rebuild the team of people who can help serve our clients with the utmost care. Choosing people who can help our studio continue to create experiences, memories and products from a place of love, honesty, vulnerability and excellence.

Santa in 2020

I'm delighted we can still offer Santa pics while maintaining safety. Our COVID-19 cases are at an all-time high and I want to be a responsible citizen. We will be shooting outdoors this year and will be creative at maintaining safe distances while having fun. Imagine having a leaf fight with Santa. These photos will be once in a lifetime, so let's not be scared to show that it's 2020 . If kids need to be closer than 6 feet to Santa, the big guy will put on his mask (we don't want him to get sick before Christmas!). Please contact me if you have more questions or concerns.

We will be shooting up to 10 minutes with each group and providing 10 beautiful images for you to view online. Mostly with Santa, but a couple of individual shots too. Groups are limited to 4 people. Three simple options for pricing. The $95 is due after booking your spot and includes up to 10 minutes with Santa and a 10 image web gallery for you to choose from, one 5x7 print, a gift for each child from Santa, and individually bagged Christmas snacks. If you upgrade to $250 or $500 after seeing the photos, the $95 deposit will be deducted from the price.
